The Story Behind “No Man Can Stop Me”: Our Journey From Homelessness to a Home
Eight years of searching, holding on to faith, and refusing to stop loving Jesus.

Some songs come from experiences that change your life. “No Man Can Stop Me” came from the journey my partner and I were going through—a journey filled with pain, suffering, homelessness, and the faith that encouraged us to keep going.
We wrote songs about what we were experiencing. Writing gave us a way to express the hurt we carried, our love for Jesus, and the hope we were trying to hold on to.
Searching for a Place of Our Own Since 2018
Since 2018, we had been trying to find a stable place of our own. We went through homelessness, sharing rooms, and staying with other people while longing for somewhere we could finally call home.
We wanted a place where we could have privacy, breathe, and build our lives together. A home where we would not have to share rooms or depend on staying with someone else.
The search continued for years. While we were trying to find stability, we also lost many friends and family members along the way. Carrying those losses while facing our own struggles brought even more pain.
The Meaning Behind “No Man Can Stop Me”
Through everything we were going through, my partner and I made a decision: no man could stop us from loving our Jesus.
No matter what we are going through, no man can stop us from loving our Jesus.
That is the heart of this song. We were hurting, but we still loved Him. We were searching for a home, but we still believed He was leading us. Even when we did not know how things would come together, we kept turning to Jesus.
“No Man Can Stop Me” became an encouragement for us to keep going. It helped us put our faith into words during a time when we had so much on our hearts.
In 2026, We Finally Found Our Own Apartment
After searching since 2018, we finally found an apartment of our own in 2026. We no longer have to share rooms or stay with someone else. We finally have a home for ourselves.
After years of longing for stability, this means so much to us. Having our own space is a blessing we are deeply grateful for.
God led us, and finally, things are coming together for us. We remember what we went through, and we are thankful to be stepping into this new chapter.
