❤️ My Personal Connection to St. Croix
My name is Evadney Griffith, and I was born on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. So for me, the Caribbean is more than just a vacation destination. It is part of my story.
Growing up as a little girl, I loved going to the beach. I remember on Sundays, me and my siblings would bug our parents to take us to the beach.
Our parents would sometimes have a hard time making up their minds about whether to take us or not. Eventually my dad would say, "Get ready, we are going!"
We would jump up and down and get ready so fast! It was such a joy back then. Those simple beach trips became some of the memories I will always remember.
As we got older, my younger brother and I would sometimes go to the beach on our own, walking there while our parents never knew. Looking back, it was such an experience and so much fun!
Those childhood memories are one of the reasons I love sharing information about the Virgin Islands. The islands are not just beautiful places to visit—they can become places where you create memories that stay with you for a lifetime.
🏝️ St. Thomas
St. Thomas is a great destination to consider if you enjoy beautiful beaches, scenic views, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and island adventures.
Charlotte Amalie, the capital of St. Thomas, offers visitors the opportunity to explore historic areas, shops, restaurants and beautiful harbor views.
You can also spend time enjoying the beaches, taking in the scenery or looking for different Caribbean activities to add to your vacation.
🌿 St. John
If you love nature, beaches and beautiful scenery, you may want to put St. John on your Caribbean vacation list.
St. John is known for its natural beauty and protected areas. Visitors can enjoy beaches, hiking, snorkeling, sightseeing and other outdoor experiences.
One of the places many travelers associate with St. John is Trunk Bay, a beautiful Caribbean beach surrounded by tropical scenery.

Of course, I have to mention St. Croix because it is my birthplace.
St. Croix offers beaches, historic areas, restaurants, local culture, outdoor activities and beautiful coastal scenery.
