The Virgin Islands offer an array of activities that cater to all interests, ensuring a memorable trip. Whether you seek adventure, relaxation, or cultural immersion, the islands have something for everyone.
So you wanna have some fun in one or all of the 3 islands? Look no further. Virgin Islands is a united state territory and you don't need a passport to travel there. You will need only a a drivers license, government ID card or passport if you don't have id to travel there. While you are on vacation you can also travel by boat to Virgin Gorda or tortola but only drawback is you will need a passport to get there. In order to get to one of the islands if you don't live in one of the Virgin Islands, you will need to book a plane ticket to get there. Usually the round trip flight will cost you about between $578 and up. If you book one way it could be between $197 and up. To get the best prices it will be a great idea to keep checking and alternate dates to see what fits you best and if prices don't matter to you pick what date fits you. When I check flight I usually book one way because I don't know when I will return back to my original destination. I usually use justfly or spirit airlines to get reasonable prices. Travel and hotel. The cheapest month to travel to Virgin islands is November by Air. The U.S. Virgin Islands has daily, nonstop flights from New York, Newark, Baltimore, Atlanta, Miami, Philadelphia, Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, Chicago and Fort Lauderdale.
If you planning to take a trip to st.croix to st.thomas you will have to take a boat or plane. It's way cheaper by boat. Book a reservation from st.croix to st.thomas it will cost you about $70 Roundtrip or $60 one-way and st.thomas to st John or visa versa.
Winter through spring is the best time to visit the U.S. Virgin Islands. Pleasant temperatures and low rainfall make December through May a good time to go to the USVI. June is also one of the best times to visit the islands.
If you plan to visit St. Thomas and St. John, I recommend spending one week in the US Virgin Islands. With 7 days, you have 2 days for travel time plus 5 days on the islands, which is plenty of time to visit the beaches, go snorkeling or take a boat cruise, and do a little hiking.
St. Croix — The Caribbean Island Where Celebrities Go…and You Can Too! The island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands is a quick escape for those looking for beach, sun, and anonymity.
How do I choose which Virgin island to visit?
1. St.Thomas is Best for: Shopping, upscale dining, and nightlife.

- St. Croix is Best for: Culture, history, and food.
St. Croix
St. Croix is the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, known for its rich history, diverse culture, and vibrant economy. The island features a mix of beautiful beaches, lush landscapes, and historical sites, including the towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted, which showcase colonial architecture and a blend of Caribbean and European influences. The kind of individuals that lives there in these islands Antigans,St Lucia, Dominicans, Dominican Republic known as Santos, St.kitts/Nevis,Barbados, Puerto Rican, Jamaican and Haitian,We have east and west and 2 parts of the islands known as Fredericksted and christiansted.St. Croix is also renowned for its agricultural products, particularly rum, We use to have a factory called cruzan rum now we have a new one called captain Morgan go check them out. People who visits there usually buy couple liquor and ship back to the mainland or take it back with you on the plane. I believe you are allowed to take back about 2 bottles of liquor but you can find out to be sure because you know over time things change. Offers various outdoor activities such as snorkeling, diving, and hiking in the nearby rainforests.
To get to the rainforest you drive all the way to Fredericksted drive to the back heading to Northside towards annaly farm back road pass through drive all the way through until you see the rainforest. You can also bath in the rainforest and while you around that side you can stop at somewhere around that side you will see the famous pig drinking bears. It's so fascinating to see and you can get a chance to take life changing pictures.
Book a tour to experience horse back riding on st.croix.
Check out Carambola Beach resort a great place to have a destination wedding or honeymoon. You and experience great food, hotel hospitality, Nice music & beach and golfing. That's a place where a lot of celebrities vacation at. You can always call to find out if you have to make reservations and when they are having any activities.
Adventures of the sea. You have to reserve a spot and catch a boat to a little island to get to buck island. You know the funny thing I born and raised there and never went there but have family and friends went there and had a good time. People have party out on that little island snorkeling and scuba diving go on the beach to swim barbeque etc. Why not try it out.
Hotel on the cay is similar to buck Island. To my knowledge you don't have to reserve to go on the boat because use to go there all the time and just go to the beach and the festivities. I remember I use to pay around 5 to $6 to go on the boat it's about a couple minutes ride to get to that little island. You can book hotel there too.
Divi Carina Casino hotel is a great place to spend the night out at this awesome casino. It a long ride to the Divi carina casino to go out and have fun. You can book an all inclusive package for you and your crew. I remember before going there I would go to a restaurant in Christiansted then head over to casino. I remember when I played one time on the machine for about 15 minutes I then got up to try another machine. I was watching the lady playing the same machine I was playing and I coul remember she spin the machine like 2 times and won the jackpot. I was so mad it wasn't me. I still had a great time enjoying there free drinks. There food is usually good and they have great local band
Point Udall is a nice place to go and check out the scenery take pictures and explore the nice view from on top the hill it's a long drive if you coming from west end to the end of Christiansted passing a beach called cramers park beach.
Speaking of cramers park beach it's a nice place to go to the beach and have cookout play music and dance. Cramer Park beach is long ride to get there especially if you are coming all the way from west end. It is beautiful and the water is warm and crystal clear. There are facilities...bathrooms and changing rooms, picnic tables, etc. There can be a lot of locals on the weekends, especially on Sundays and holidays, but generally on Monday through Friday it is deserted!
Agriculture food fair it's almost like a food festival where people from all over the world come to visit to check out the different handmade crafts, different pastries, plants that can use to regrow like vegetables, fruits and house plants, different food booths, it has live music such as local artists, mocko jumbies walking on long sticks, amusement rides and you get to ride through the agriculture like a tourist for a small fee, you can see different animals. St. John is the smallest of the three islands and is celebrated for its natural beauty and tranquility. Approximately two-thirds of the island is designated as Virgin Islands National Park, which protects its pristine beaches, coral reefs, and hiking trails. St. John is ideal for eco-tourism and offers a more laid-back atmosphere compared to its counterparts. Visitors can explore the island's rich biodiversity, enjoy snorkeling in the clear waters, and experience the local culture in the charming town of Cruz Bay.
